Summary
Aegis Services LLC, based in the Qatar Financial Centre, sued EMobility Certification Services and three former employees for breaching non-disclosure and non-competition clauses. The court initially granted an interim injunction but later found no prima facie case against the defendants. Consequently, Aegis withdrew its claims. The court ruled Aegis liable for the defendants' legal costs, as per article 33.2 of the court's regulations, deeming Aegis the unsuccessful party. Aegis argued against this, citing financial strain and early case withdrawal, but the court upheld the costs order.
