Summary
The Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court Appellate Division allowed KBF Trading and Contracting Company to appeal against the dismissal of its claim under clause 4.1 of a Shareholder Agreement with Akram Hidri and Creatrea LLC. KBF alleged that Hidri failed to secure deals worth QAR 200,000 within three months, as per the agreement, and sought repayment of QAR 100,000. The court granted the appeal, ordering Hidri to pay QAR 100,000 plus interest to KBF. The court found insufficient evidence that Hidri had met the contractual threshold of securing deals worth QAR 200,000. No order as to costs was made.
