Summary
In the Qatar International Court, Justices Frances Kirkham, William Blair, and Rashid Al Anezi reviewed the Claimants’ application to withdraw their claims against Horizon Crescent Wealth LLC and others. The Defendants did not respond within the prescribed time. The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority supported the withdrawal and requested the discharge of an existing freezing order. The Court ordered the discontinuation of proceedings, lifted the freezing injunction dated 9 May 2019, and ruled that no party would be responsible for costs. The Claimants were represented by Fieldfisher, while the Defendants made no representations.
