Summary
In a judgment dated April 2, 2023, the Qatar International Court dismissed the claims of Fat Cat Café LLC against AHK Enterprise LLC and directed the Claimant to pay the Defendant QAR 37,500. The Defendant is also entitled to recover reasonable costs. The dispute arose from a lease agreement for a kiosk during the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022. The Claimant alleged late handover and location modifications of the kiosk, seeking repayment and damages. The Defendant denied breaching the agreement and counterclaimed for the remaining rent. The Court found in favor of the Defendant.
